The Latest Computer Reviews

admin

At this point there’s no doubt what kind of world we live in. One that’s seriously based on technology and convenience. Hey, don’t take this the wrong way. I’m sure not complaining. I absolutely love my compact notebook computer, and don’t see how I ever survived without it. Now, obviously with the deluge of computers on the market now, it can be a tad confusing which ones are the best and which ones should be avoided. This is a tough question to address. You can always look to recent computer reviews, but you should also keep in mind what you intend to use your PC or Mac for.

I had a difficult time picking out my very first laptop. My first instinct was to read numerous computer reviews and proceed from there. Then I turned to my older brother, a computer geek, and absorbed his input. He told me that I had plenty of great PCs and Mac to choose from. It mostly depends upon personal preference and what you need the computer for. Personally I wanted a compact machine that kept things simple. I wanted to be able to do things such as surf the web, write, send emails, watch movie trailers, IM friends and family, and maybe watch a DVD on occasion. I quickly learned that virtually any desktop or laptop could accomplish all these things. Hmm, that sure doesn’t narrow much down. After reading a few more computer reviews on Macs and IBM Thinkpads, I scrutinized the products in person. As it turned out, I preferred the Mac Ibook G4. I felt and still feel that it’s a bit simpler to operate than a PC. Not to mention I never get a single pop-up or virus.

Do some shopping around first. Read the most current computer reviews regarding the machines you’re interested in and see what they’re like in-person. You have to toy with them first. Luckily they’re all sitting out for you to mess with in Best Buy, Circuit City and Mac stores. Get assistance from someone who specializes in that area and ask oodles of questions. This way there won’t be any hidden mysteries with the PC or Mac you choose. Dive on in; there is so much to choose from.
